What is Salesforce?

Salesforce is a cloud-based software platform that’s widely used across the world. Its main focus is CRM with customized solutions for sales, support, and marketing teams. Businesses and organizations can use Salesforce cloud technology to better connect with partners, customers, and potential customers. The Salesforce apps and services have a huge range of potential applications across many industries.

Salesforce has a complex pricing structure with many different products and ways of pricing. Many plans have monthly-based pricing, while for other products there’s a flat fee for the entire business or organization. We’ll stick to Salesforce pricing that’s designed for small businesses in this article.

Salesforce Small Business Pricing

Salesforce pricing plans for small businesses have several levels. There’s a basic plan that’s an all-in-one sales and support app. There are plans available for either a sales or service professional. And finally, there’s a marketing cloud suite available for a special price for small businesses. All plans require an annual contract.

Let’s now take a closer look at each plan and the features they come with.

Salesforce Small Business Pricing Plans

The Salesforce Essentials plan for small businesses costs $25 per user per month, or $300 a year.

An extra option available on this plan is to have a monthly contract, which will cost $35 per user per month. This flexibility may benefit some small businesses.

You can have a maximum of 10 users on the Essentials plan.

You’ll get access to a basic but powerful CRM, which includes lead and campaign management, and the ability to manage customer and sales details. The Essentials plan also includes some basic reports. It’s an affordable option for small businesses that don’t need advanced features.

The Sales Professional plan costs $75 per user per month, or $900 a year. You can add as many users as you’d like.

Your business will receive a complete CRM and will be able to manage the entire sales cycle, including tracking leads, opportunities, and customers. Users can also create and track quotes, orders, and contracts.

The Service Professional plan is an alternative to the Sales plan and costs the same amount; $75 per user per month. While the Sales plan is geared around leads and sales, this plan includes a CRM specifically for service teams. You can manage service contracts and customer cases, automate business processes, and receive customizable reports and dashboards.
